WinterFest 26 logging guidance for bb2 users
UK Activator Logging
✅ Upload your ADIF log to UKBOTA BB2 as normal.
- Your log is automatically forwarded to the WF26 logging portal where it is read, and your WF26 Activator score is updated.
- Hunter QSOs are extracted for WF26 hunter logs.
- You view your WF26 activations and logs for each of those activations on the WF26 logging portal.
- You can view your WF26 activator score, maps and claim awards on the WF26 logging portal.
- Your UK BB2 Activator record is updated as usual.
⚠️ If you do not upload an ADIF log and use the BB2 Activator Summary form only:
- Counts for UKBOTA / BB2 awards as now.✅
- Does NOT count for WF26 scores and awards.
- Does NOT extract QSOs for WF26 hunter logs.
⚠️ Important: UK Activators should NOT upload logs directly to the WF26 portal as this will NOT credit your UK BB2 Activator account.
Hunter Logging
✅ Hunters should log UK Bunker QSOs in BB2 as usual to ensure they get credit for UK awards.
🌍 WF26 logging. Provided activators upload their logs to WF26 (UK Activators are uploaded automatically via BB2) you do NOT need to manually add QSOs to the WF26 logging portal. Your QSOs will be automatically extracted from activators’ logs.
If you wish to add non-UK bunkers to your WF26 record (and to the wider WWBOTA Logger database) you can add QSO via either BB2 or WWBOTA Logger/WF26 logger.
