Do I need to use BunkerBase 2 to participate in UKBOTA?
No, you don’t have to use BunkerBase 2 if you’re not interested in claiming awards—participation for fun is perfectly fine without it. However, if you wish to claim awards, you’ll need to first register with BB2 via the registration link provided. Registration will automatically set up both your activator and hunter dashboards, allowing you to track your progress and submit logs for awards.
Although it isn’t essential to se BB2 it will truly enhance your UKBOTA experience, and we would love to have you join us on our journey. Please register at Register – UKBOTA

You can re-set your Password by visiting this link. Once submitted, remember to check all your mail folders including your junk my.
Where and how do I register for a BunkerBase 2 account?
Use the following link to the registration area Register – UKBOTA
Complete the details requested on the form and click submit, check your emails including any junk folders for the confirmation email from UKBOTA. You will receive a confirmation email from UKBOTA in your inbox, if its not there please look inside any junk folders you may have. You do not need to confirm your emails address to activate your account, the email is just for your personal records.

I have registered; how do I view my BunkerBase 2 account?
To get started, make sure you’re signed in using the correct details. You’ll find the log in option at the top of the UKBOTA website—simply click the drop-down menu, select “Log In”, enter your registered information, and hit “Login”. If you like, you can also choose to stay logged in for convenience.
Once you’re in, your BunkerBase account is organised into two main dashboards: one for Activations and another for Hunts or Chases. There’s also a “Bunker Dashboard”, which is accessible without any registration. Navigate to “BunkerBase 2” on the top bar—here, a drop-down menu lets you choose between the bunker, activator, or hunter dashboards. Just select the one you want and carry on. If you can’t see the “Activator” or “Hunter” dashboards listed, double-check your login details for any typos, or it might be that your BunkerBase 2 account isn’t active yet.

What is my Hunters Dashboard?
Your Hunter Dashboard is your personalised hub for tracking and celebrating your UKBOTA journey. It’s where you log bunker contacts, follow your progress through our award schemes, and monitor special event achievements. With interactive maps and tailored insights, it brings your role as a hunter to life—whether you’re chasing rare activations or building a legacy of connection across the airwaves.

Can you walk me through, how to log my first activation?
How do I delete a record?
Warning once deleted it can not be recover!
To delete a record.
1. Enter you activators dashboard.
2. Below the activation submission form, you will see your 10 most recent activations.
3. Locate the activation you wish to delete in the list and click on activation to highlight it.
4. Far left hand side you will see the waste bin to delete, click on delete.
5. Confirm deletion in the pop-up dialogue box.
Your record has now been deleted for your activations.
